Ok, who doesn’t love jeans? Young, old, kids, teens, and adults! Blue jeans, denim jeans, just plain jeans, or whatever you call them. I’m a jeans wearer! Nothing is more comfortable to me than my jeans. Am I a denimhead? More on that in a sec.
Have you ever wondered what the little pocket over the right front pocket is for? Do you think you know what it’s for? Most might think it’s for coins.
According to a blog post on the Levi Strauss website, the small pocket was originally included in the design of the jeans as protection for a pocket watch. It goes on to say that the pocket is extremely useful for holding tiny trinkets, and the faded and worn nature it takes on over time is loved by denimheads.
There’s that word denimheads again. Doing a Google search, I came up with some interesting info:
• 11 Denim Heads To Follow On Instagram
• Denimheads: People who don’t wash their jeans
• Back to Levi Strauss who has a page called Denimheads
I thought I might be a denimhead but after reading that they’re people who don’t wash their jeans…well, I’m having second thoughts. So, did you know what the little pocket was for, and are you a denimhead?
