Taking a walk one day, I veered off the path into the woods. It was a pleasant view. Nature, alive and well!
Suddenly the woods became eerily silent. The squirrels and birds stopped chirping. The insects went silent. The wind stopped rustling the leaves on the trees.
And then I saw it! What was it? A large, hairy animal! Or was it a man? Bigfoot maybe. I turned and ran as fast as I could!

Here I thought life would settle down in 2020. Ha!!
Hope you are staying well, my friend. My daughter who has similar health problems to yours has holed herself and her daughters in the house for several weeks now.
Going to try to come up with something for this real quick. Have missed the writing and short story prompts. A fellow blogger recently took pictures of their moose hunt adventure and included one of giant footprints in the snow that would work well with your story.
These prompts give me a chance to relax but be creative at the same time as I’m exercising my brain 🙂
I like your story. Are you a Big Foot believer? I just heard something about Big Foot on NPR this morning on the way to the market. I can’t recall now what was said.
