Ah, spring. I am enjoying the warmer days. I always look forward to its arrival. Summer is my fav season but I’m glad spring is on its way.
What joy to see little sprouts and things coming to life after winter! I saw early signs of spring while taking a stroll. Are they wildflowers or weeds? Some say wildflowers are weeds. They are so pretty! Did you know some weeds are beneficial to us? There’s even an appreciation day for them!
I expect to see daffodils popping up soon. They always appear here before Easter.
How about where you are, is spring trying to make its annual debut? What is your favorite season?

Hi Grammie Dee! We are heading into Autumn in Australia although where I live in Brisbane, the weather is glorious. We lose the heat of summer but the days are sunny and clear. Mornings and evenings are crisp but I still wear my summer clothes. I’m sure you are looking forward to warmer weather. I actually love all the seasons but I think Autumn and Spring are my favourites.
Yes Sue, most definitely looking forward to warmer weather, even hot weather 🙂
On Vancouver Island, BC., we have had an unusually long, cold and snowy winter. It snowed a bit yesterday, and rained a bit today. I have my fingers crossed that the cold, wet weather leaves us soon!
Hoping your wet weather leaves soon too Donna. It has been chilly and raining for days here now. I’m so ready for it to warm up 🙂
It will officially be spring in a few days, yet on Sunday we had snow and today it’s a very cold rain. I’m not complaining because I know spring is on its way. 🙂
Same here Clearissa, well not exactly…rain and cold yes, snow no. So looking forward to spring and warmer weather. Summer will be even better 🙂
It is beautiful here in the southeast Texas area! Of course we never had much of a winter this year. My azaleas and roses are blooming and I just noticed my first iris about to open. I’m on spring break this week and am spending the time planting my vegetables. This is a great time of the year for us – we can actually be outside without melting!
Sounds wonderful Roseann. Can’t wait to get our veggies planted.
I’m so ready for warm weather, not hot, just warm! My daffodils were ready to open and winter storm Stella arrived. They are now sitting under a layer of snow! I have seen many flowering trees in bloom also and my maples have buds. Maybe this is winter’s last hurrah!
Teresa, I sure hope this is the last hurrah for this winter 🙂
I am formerly from New York City but live in Atlanta Georgia now. (Been here seven months) I do not miss the snow storm they had yesterday one bit…however it is cold and windy here today too. Down here it is hard to say what my favorite month is as it seems to be so up and down. I know for sure the Summers are real hot here so I think I will stay with what was my favorite season in New York….that was fall…..love fall….but I will say I like the longer days of Spring as well…..
Hi Donna. I’m over next to you in AL. Believe it or not but I love the hot summers we have down here in the south.
We’ve had a crazy winter here in coastal Georgia. Mostly quite warm — we hit 80 degrees a few times in January and February. Then, this week, we had a cold snap with overnight frost. (I think we lost some tomato plants). Anyway — our azalea bushes have been blooming so pretty for the past few weeks. Welcome Spring!!
Oh Mimi, hate that about the tomatoes. Eagerly waiting to get our veggies planted here.
I love the rebirth Spring brings and planting my garden and getting outside more. Fall is second best. Blogging Grandmothers are the best.
Ah Candy, you’re so right, Blogging Grandmothers are the best 🙂
Well hello there Chrissy 🙂
I just found this blog! It was nice to dream of spring when we still have some snow in Minnesota!
I’m sure it is Carolyn, maybe the snow will be gone before long 🙂
Thanks for Bringing Your Post on Spring… to the Blogger’s Pit Stop 🙂

You’re most welcome Julie, I enjoy partying with you all 🙂
Here in Arizona we have bypassed spring for about a week and jumped into summer with temps in the mid-90’s. I miss the more evident season change that we used to get when my family lived in Maryland. Happy Spring! Thank you for sharing at Link It Up Wednesday!
My pleasure Kileen, I enjoy partying with you all.
We cannot expect to be frost free here until Mother’s day. Only thing still growing here are snowbanks. I totally decorated the inside of my home for Spring though, so that helps.
Oh my Leanna, I had no idea about the frost.
My daffodils are blooming and we are anticipating bee swarms as the nectar flow begins- hoping to prevent them this year!
Always enjoy seeing flowers start to bloom Sonja, although a sign of spring…for me it means summer isn’t too far off ♥
First full day of spring and it’s snowing here. A beautiful snow but not sticking yet.
Snow, really Clearissa? Have you been doing the snow dance?
We are still surrounded by snow but it’s sugaring season which is a sure sign of spring!
Nancy, I read an article about the erratic weather throwing the maple sugaring season for a loop. Hope it hurries and passes ♥
Well here in WV you would not know it’s Spring. Cold and snowy but that’s ok. Hopefully we get some signs of spring in the next few weeks.
Hope it hurries and warms up for you Pamela ♥
I am certainly looking forward to spring but I have to admit Fall is my favorite season. The problem in Indiana is we may have 7 days of Spring and days of autumn. The rest is either summer or winter. I don’t know what’s happened to our 4 seasons. I’m ready for some nice weather.
I’ve heard other people say the same thing Marisa ♥
Spring is my favorite season, unfortunately we’re not seeing it here in Wisconsin quite yet.
Amy, sure hope spring hurries and arrives for you all up there in WI.
I think fall is my favorite season, but it just never seems to last long enough! This year, once again, my daffodils were starting to bloom and we were hit with a big snow storm. Oh well, it is really the only snowfall we have had this winter.
Hope your flowers survive Teresa. This is the first time ever that I’ve seen bees and wasps in February!
Spring is my favorite season. When the grass starts turning green and bulbs start blooming, I get so excited. And that’s when my spring cleaning fever hits.
I understand the spring cleaning fever Terri. Spring just means we’re closer to summer for me and I love summertime!
Being a gardener, Spring is my favorite season of the year! I get so lonely for it in February! 😉 Here in Arkansas lots of daffodils, serviceberry trees and saucer magnolias are showing off their lovely blossoms! -Marci @ Stone Cottage Adventures
I know the blossoms are so pretty Marci ♥
Autumn is my favorite. I live in the northeast of the U.S. with truly beautiful colors, but spring is a close second.
Thanks for your comment, Barbara.
I’m right there with you Dee. Summer! But I’m so glad that it’s light after 500pm finally!
Hi Dee, I have daffodils coming up in my yard now, but I have a feeling winter is not finished with us and they will die out soon. They always look so pretty when they begin sprouting. Summer is my least favorite, but I love spring and fall. Winter even ranks in there somewhere with the cooler temps.
For me Cara, the hotter the better 🔆
Yes! Spring is definitely making an early appearance here in Southwest Missouri! The crocuses have come and are nearly gone. Right now the daffodils are in full-bloom and the tinest of spring flowers can be scattered among the greening grass throughout the yard…dandelion, spring beauties, tiny bluets, and henbit (a.k.a. “bunny ears” by my children and grands). Normally, I enjoy winter, but, this year, not so much, and it hasn’t even been a bad one. I’m just ready for warmer days and sunnier skies ahead! Blessings for a beautiful spring!
Rebecca, I love seeing spring arrive and everything coming back to life. I have never enjoyed winter and the cooler temps of fall always make me feel depressed because I know soon winter will follow. So, spring is a wonderful arrival for me.
They are definitely wildflowers! 🙂 Well, there is no sign of Spring here today as we are pretty much blanketed in snow… but I am still hopeful! Hope you are well! Sim x
Oh, no, Sim. I hate snow. Where are you? I’m in AL.
