I’m participating in the Weekend Writing Prompt 170 hosted by Sammi Scribbles using 42 words as a challenge with the word jostle. I titled this: SHOPPING FRENZY.
Jostle as you may
Bully as you might
Not too much
Might cause a fight
Pushing and shoving
Not once but twice
That woman doesn’t care
She’s on a mission
Rude and determined
It’s her Black Friday tradition
That is so clever. Would well describe tax free weekend here. Great job.
I’ll never get the Black Friday thing…
Dale, I’ve been a couple times many years ago, no more, too much for me.
Good one, Dee. Just a few months ago, this was the paper products isle of the grocery store.
Thanks, Bill. It sure was.
Hence the reason I never shop on Black Friday…a good day to stay in my jammies. For that matter, it’s why I prefer online shopping. 😉 A good poem, nonetheless.
Thanks, Rochelle! I’ve been a couple of times many years ago. Online for me now 🙂
Hi, Dee – Your words and photo describe Black Friday perfectly.
It’s also a great reminder to reflect on how we truly want to be!
Definitely a frenzy I want to avoid.
I love it! So much said in so few words.
