I recently bought some inspirational and scriptural coloring books. They are so relaxing! The second page I colored was the Psalm 23:1 page in the Color the Psalms book. As with the first page I colored in the Color Me Blessed book, I used pencils. They made my wrist and fingers hurt. Since I have arthritis and fibromyalgia, I’m changing up next time to use dual tip brush markers which I think will work better for me. The design was pretty with lots of flowers. I’ve discovered though if you choose the wrong color you just have to be ok with its outcome unless you want to try erasing and I did not.

Psalm 23 is a song of gratitude to God written by King David when he was a shepherd boy. He expresses confidence and delight in the constant protection of a loving God. This Psalm is inspiring and gives us assurance, guidance, and hope by reminding us that God is good and worthy of our trust.
PSALM 23:1-6
1 The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
3 He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
5 Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.
