NATIONAL BUTTERED CORN DAY
Did you know there was a National Buttered Corn Day?
It is observed annually on August 23.
You celebrate by eating corn with plenty of butter, on the cob or off the cob!
Corn can be boiled, roasted, or steamed and can be made on the stove top, in the oven, on a grill, or in a microwave.
My fav way to have it cooked is in the husk on a grill until it is just slightly crunchy.
However, I can’t imagine putting butter on it, it’s just too good without butter!
How do you like your corn cooked? Do you prefer on the cob or off? And, what about butter…yes or no?
