This is my second post about my Amazon shopping. I’ve been shopping online way before the pandemic came along. It’s easier for me and very convenient due to my limited mobility with arthritis and fibromyalgia. Some people say those of us who shop online should shop local. The problem is, it’s hard to find what you want locally and I live in a good sized city with lots of shopping options but you still can’t find what you need. Did you know that lots of Amazon merchandise is from small sellers? Yep, everything you buy from Amazon is not exclusively stocked by Amazon! Sure, they store it in their warehouses but lots of things you buy from them is supplied to them from others. Hubby and I used to be online sellers at Amazon, eBay, Etsy, and other online platforms. So, sometimes shopping online helps the small sellers too!
Motorola Talkabout 2 Pack Bundle – These two-way radios really come in handy when we’re at the beach house. We have great cell phone service but when we’re on the water our phones are almost useless, very sketchy service, I don’t know if it’s the water, the boat, or what. That’s why these radios are great! We use them to stay in touch if some of us are on the boat or out on the Sea-Doo or back at the house. They’re waterproof, have a built in flashlight, multiple weather channels, and up to 6 miles range on open water.
Chi Mercantile Automatic Egg Incubator/Hatcher/Turner – Our son has a small farm and wanted to try his hand at raising chickens. I found this hatching incubator and it worked perfectly for his needs. It has a digital display, holds 56 eggs, has a fan to control the temp and humidity, and can turn the eggs every 2 hours. Lots of little chicks hatched from that incubator!
Intex Queen Raised Airbed – This queen size air mattress is perfect when you need extra bed space! We have a 5 bedroom home but when we host large Thanksgiving and Christmas get togethers with family and friends. A couple of these mattresses really come in handy to accommodate everyone! I especially like the built in electric pump that’s fast to inflate as well as deflate and that the mattress is raised off the floor 22”. I can vouch that these airbeds are strong, holds large adults, and have even lasted thru bed jumping grandbabies!! Jumping on them not recommended, of course!!
Dremel Engraver Rotary Tool – What a neat gadget this engraver is! Perfect for personalizing valuables or using it to craft with. It has a 9924 carbide point and a stencil template for letters and numbers. You can engrave on most things: ceramic, glass, leather, plastic, porcelain, steel, wood, etc. We’ve mostly used it for our guns but hubby has used it for some of his tools as well.
Bissell Power Fresh Steam Mop – I’ll confess something here, I’m a nurse and a germophobe! Yep, it’s true! So this Bissell steam mop helps me feel like our floors are as clean as they can possibly be. It has 3 steam settings depending on your cleaning needs and a flip down scrubber for stubborn spots. A good length cord of 23’ and heats up in about 30 seconds ready to use. The ad says that it eliminates 99.9% of germs and bacteria. We use it on tiled and wooden floors but as I understand, if steaming wood floors they should be sealed. Our adult children liked it so well that I bought each of them one for their homes.
