Have you gotten into the adult coloring book trend? Who doesn’t love to color? I always enjoyed coloring as a child. Later on as an adult, it was fun to color with my kids and grandbabies! It’s just so relaxing.
I have a few of the adult labeled coloring books but they seem to be too busy for my eyes, mostly patterns and such. Then I came across these Bible related coloring books. I just had to have them!
These are so inspiring! Some of the coloring pages are a bit busy but overall they’re pleasant to color and did I already mention how relaxing it is? I’ll post my coloring after I get one finished.
Do you have any coloring books, do you enjoy coloring?

When our children were young, we would color in the evenings while listening to Pilgrim’s Progress or another dramatized book. I do have some adult coloring books, and some Scripture coloring books, and I do enjoy coloring some, especially during the winter months. Coloring is very relaxing, and it does make the long days of winter pass pleasantly, especially when coupled with a good audio book. I recommend DoverPublications.com which has some great flower garden and country setting type coloring books.
So relaxing, Lisa. I’m currently experimenting with multiple types of colored pencils and dual tip brush markers.
I never outgrew coloring! These books are beautiful, and I especially like the COLOR ME BLESSED one. I find them very relaxing.
Sylvia, I think a lot of us enjoy coloring. It’s just something we never outgrew.
I love to color! It’s even pushed me to learn to draw and paint following along with talented people sharing their knowledge on YouTube.
Michelle, I so wish I could draw and paint. My grandson began drawing before he went to kindergarten. It just came so natural to him and I would just sit in awe watching those little fingers of his creating such awesome artwork!
I always enjoyed coloring as a child, also. My grandmother always brought me a new coloring book when she visited. These days I love my colorful Sharpie markers!
Yes, Allyson, those are great markers!
I just came across a beautiful coloring book that someone gifted to me a few years ago. I had started coloring in it, but then life took over, and it got cast aside. You have given me the inspiration to get back to coloring! I’m visiting you from Linda’s link-up. Many blessings to you this autumn season! 🙂
Hi Cheryl, glad to “meet” you! Glad you are inspired. You’ll have to post your coloring when you get a page finished 🙂
When my oldest was a teenager we got her some of these and found that it was a great way to help her deal with anxiety
Yes, Jeremy, for sure!
Dee, I love adult coloring books. I have several. It’s so relaxing.
Thank you for sharing this with Sweet Tea & Friends this month.
Paula, you’re welcome. Very relaxing.
I do enjoy coloring; these books are lovely!
Coloring is a great way to relax and unwind. It’s easy to get into a contemplative state while you sit still and color in an adult coloring book.
Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 38.
It sure is, Carol, and you’re welcome.
I do enjoy coloring. Always have! In college my roommate and I would pull out the coloring books on Friday just to crash because it did relax us.
Now I have a coloring Bible that I enjoy working in while listening to the sermon. It helps me to stay awake when I’m sleepy.
I really like your choices here. I do not enjoy all adult coloring books because of them being so busy and detailed—that adds more stress. I like simple designs.
Thanks for sharing at the Sunday Sunshine Blog Hop! Your post will be featured tomorrow at the hop!
Awesome, Laurie, thanks for letting me know!! Coloring while listening to a sermon sounds like a perfect match!
Okay, I am sitting here looking at a coloring book I bought a year ago and now I am determined to get it out and get started. Thank you for this post.
You’re welcome, Marie. Let me know if you think it is relaxing.
I got into coloring at the end of the summer. I’ve worked between holiday and religious themed books. I’m not a fan of the busy patterns so while I don’t technically need “large print” I’ve bought some just to have larger spaces to relax into and I’ve even enjoyed some color by number.
I’m enjoying the religious themed ones right now but did recently buy a tropical themed one and another one of Thomas Kinkade’s paintings. I have an awesome coloring book giveaway going on if you’re interested: https://grammysgrid.com/color-me-blessed-coloring-book-giveaway/
