I came across these coloring books (Color Me Blessed, Color the Psalms, and Color the Proverbs) while shopping one day. They looked so interesting, I just had to have all of them! And, let me tell you, these are so relaxing!
I started with the Color Me Blessed book. The first page I colored was Count Your Blessings. I used these colored pencils. The pencils were a bit difficult for me. I found them hard to use because I have arthritis and fibromyalgia. They made my wrist and fingers hurt. I’m looking for alternative ways to color, maybe the dual tip brush markers would work better for me.
I enjoyed coloring the design, it was so pretty. Speaking of blessings, do you acknowledge yours? I count mine every day! I am very blessed, grateful, and thankful! These Bible verses come to mind about blessings:
• Numbers 6:24-26 The Lord bless thee, and keep thee: The Lord make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: The Lord lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
• Psalm 128:1 Blessed is every one that feareth the Lord; that walketh in his ways.
• Jeremiah 17:7 Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord, and whose hope the Lord is.
• Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.
• Acts 20:35 I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.
• Psalm 34:8 O taste and see that the Lord is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.
Do you count your blessings? Do you enjoy coloring books for adults?

These are beautiful coloring books. I really like the COLOR ME BLESSED book, but both have lovely designs in them. Great for relaxing too.
Sylvia, the Color Me Blessed coloring book has some nice designs, the Count Your Blessings was fun to color but not with the pencils.
I don’t know if I count my blessings but I do host a gratitude link up every Thursday… (mainly to reframe my thinking) #AnythingGoes
Lydia, thanks for letting us know about your linkup!
God has definitely blessed us abundantly. Not that we are problem free by any stretch but He is always so faithful in the midst of it all. 🙂
Thanks, Donna. Everything isn’t rosy all the time but we can find things in our life to feel blessed about.
Always good to take a moment and reflect on all the good things one has to appreaciate
So true, Jeremy.
Hi Dee, thank you for linking up on Whimsy Home Wednesday! I love to color, I read a while back that the scent of crayons lowers your blood pressure. I would imagine a bit of nostalgia may play a part there, but who knows? I have colored with crayons, colored pencils, markers, paint markers, and eye shadow. Yep, I try to find a use for everything around here.
You’re welcome, Cara. Ah, yes, the scent of crayons does seem to be nostalgic. I haven’t used crayons with my coloring books but have spent plenty of joyful time coloring with them with the grandbabies ♥
Dee, I love adult coloring books. And yes I count my blessings every day. Praise God.
Thank you for sharing this with Sweet Tea & Friends this month my friend.
Paula, you’re welcome. Love this book!
These are lovely coloring books with uplifting messages from scripture. Thank you for sharing this post in the Talent-Sharing Tuesdays Link-Up 41.
Thanks, Carol, you’re welcome.
Thanks for posting at My Big Fat Menopausal Life’s Share the Wealth Party! Hope to see you at the new party this week!
Helen, you’re welcome.
I do enjoy adult coloring books and have a few I bring on long car rides with a set of colored pencils.
Joanne, that would certainly help long rides but I can’t do such while on the road. I can’t even read, makes me too dizzy, while traveling.
I love adult coloring books. I have one for Christmas, but I can’t find it this year after our move. Love the scriptures. I put one on a pumpkin each year that we write what we are thankful for that year and I display them together. Thanks for sharing on Crafty Creators!
Niki, you’re welcome.
Happy Thanksgiving week to you, Dee!!
I know you already know, but I was really happy to feature your Blessings post at last week’s Share Your Style #368 for you. <3 Coloring is very relaxing and we did a lot of it with our PABS kids the past few years. Now that I am in the library (and a different school), we have bookmarks which the kids (and us!) can color!! It's fun. 🙂
Have a great Thanksgiving and we will see you at the next SYS,
Hi Barbara, yes, thanks so much for the feature! What a great idea, bookmarks to color!
