BLOGGING GRANDMOTHERS SERIES 3 WITH PAM FROM EMPTY NEST
The 21st blogging grandmother to be featured in the Blogging Grandmothers Series 3 is Pam.
NAME OF YOUR BLOG: EMPTY NEST
WHAT MAKES YOU SMILE: My grandchildren.
YOUR FAV SNACK: My favorite snack pretty much changes with my mood of the moment. Right now, I love my homemade cucumber spread with crackers.
WHAT QUOTE APPEALS TO YOU MORE THAN ANY OTHER: This is difficult to narrow down but I’ll go with this one: Fight for the things that you care about, but do it in a way that will lead others to join you. RBG
FUNNY OR SCARY MOVIE: Funny. I don’t care for scary movies that are scary because something jumps out at you but I do enjoy a psychological thriller.
POOL, LAKE, OCEAN, OR NONE: I love the lake and the ocean but I do not swim in either anymore. I do still quite enjoy sitting on the dock at my dad’s house on the lake or going over to the island and walking on the beach near my house. I used to love pools, too but I am not a fan of all the chemicals so I avoid them.
DO YOU MONETIZE YOUR BLOG: I have never figured out how to do this so, no.
HOW LONG DO YOU PLAN ON BLOGGING: I guess until I run out of things to say. LOL
FAV TYPE OF MUSIC: It’s easier if I list music I do not care for — metal, most rap, most country…otherwise, I’ll listen to it. The genre of the day depends on my mood but I always love listening to The Wild Feathers! And not just because the drummer is my SIL.
DOGS OR CATS: Dogs. It’s not that I don’t love cats I’m allergic to them.
IF PAST LIVES ARE REAL, WHAT WAS YOURS: Mostly likely a commoner but I hope I was fierce and stood up to all things unjust.
ARE YOU AFRAID TO BE ALONE IN YOUR HOUSE: Not really. I’ve learned to by watching scary movies and Criminal Minds when I’m going to be by myself. Ha! I love my alone time.
DO YOU HAVE ANY RECURRING DREAMS OR NIGHTMARES: Not anymore but I did when I was a kid and I can still recall it vividly.
YOUR EARLIEST MEMORY: I was 2 or 3 and I remember sitting on the front stoop sharing Oreos with my dog waiting for my dad to get home from work.
DO YOU HAVE A BUCKET LIST? IF SO, WHAT ARE THE TOP 5 THINGS ON IT: I never did until a few years ago though I’m not sure it’s an actual bucket list because whether or not I get to these places matters very little to me. Anyway, I’d like to go to Marfa, Texas, to NYC to see the lighting of the tree at Rockefeller Center, to stay in one of those igloo hotels in Finland, and to see the northern lights.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SAY: Nothing other than to say thank you to you, Dee for all the effort you put forth for us! You are amazing! And I appreciate you!Click here to see where I party!
