BLOGGING GRANDMOTHERS SERIES 3 WITH DONNA FROM RETIREMENT REFLECTIONS
The 9th blogging grandmother to be featured in the Blogging Grandmothers Series 3 is Donna.
NAME OF YOUR BLOG: RETIREMENT REFLECTIONS
SOCIAL MEDIA: Facebook • Instagram • LinkedIn • Pinterest • Twitter
WHAT MAKES YOU SMILE: So many things – my grandchildren top the list!
YOUR FAV SNACK: It depends on the day, and who’s asking. If talking to my mom or doctor – it’s definitely yogurt and berries. If not, it’s likely milk chocolate.
WHAT QUOTE APPEALS TO YOU MORE THAN ANY OTHER: “No kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.” Aesop.
FUNNY OR SCARY MOVIE: Never scary. Anything but that!
POOL, LAKE, OCEAN, OR NONE: Ocean. Thankfully ours is a short walk away.
DO YOU MONETIZE YOUR BLOG: Never. But I do love blogging collaborations — like this Guest Post and one that I am currently doing with Leslie at Once Upon A & Time Happily Ever After.
HOW DID YOU MEET YOUR SPOUSE OR PARTNER: Blind Date.
HOW LONG DO YOU PLAN ON BLOGGING: This is a very relevant question. I am currently giving this much thought.
FAV TYPE OF MUSIC: Being an old soul, I prefer old time stuff — where you can actually understand the words!
DOGS OR CATS: I’ve spent more time with dogs…but could see a cat in my future.
IF PAST LIVES ARE REAL, WHAT WAS YOURS: Oooooh, I hope that whoever I was, I stirred up controversy!
ARE YOU AFRAID TO BE ALONE IN YOUR HOUSE: No…unless things go bump in the night.
DO YOU HAVE ANY RECURRING DREAMS OR NIGHTMARES: One very boring one. I am looking and looking for a washroom, but cannot find one. (I told you that it was boring!)
YOUR EARLIEST MEMORY: Standing on my grandparents’ porch, with my new suitcase, when I was almost three.
DO YOU HAVE A BUCKET LIST? IF SO, WHAT ARE THE TOP 5 THINGS ON IT: I have six! Hiking the Via Francigena (Italy), completing another round of the Camino Trail (Spain), traveling on the Trans-Siberian railway, intensifying my physical fitness routine, increasing my repertoire of go-to, healthy vegetarian recipes and becoming a better photographer.
IS THERE ANYTHING ELSE YOU’D LIKE TO SAY: Thank you, Dee, for offering this third round of Blogging Grandmother interviews. I’ve greatly enjoyed following this series and have been delighted to participate.
