ARE YOU US?

I’m participating in the Weekend Writing Prompt 144 hosted by Sammi Scribbles using 71 words as a challenge with the word sculpture. I titled this: ARE YOU US?

I wondered as I stood there just staring at the apocalyptic sculpture. My mind was racing with all sorts of thoughts.

Who are you? Where are you from? Are you us in the past? Are you us in the future?

Are we heading toward a time when we will all have to have an oxygen mask permanently attached to our faces? Is our world and what we know of it doomed?
