I haven’t done any long distance trips with the grandkids yet. Just day trips. I really like how you covered everything and even stuff I hadn’t thought of.

I tried to cover everything I could think of Candy. We’ve taken the grandbabies on several long distance trips in vehicles and planes and for up to 2 weeks at a time so we have experience 🙂

I would make sure that I have a cell phone and the parent’s cell phone numbers ready on speed dial. You just never know when your grandbaby will need to be reassured by hearing mom or dad’s voice. What great tips for tripping with the Grandbabies. I will bookmark this in case I ever need the reminders.

my grandbaby is too little to leave her mum and dad yet, but I really hope we get to spend some one on one time with her as she gets older – whether it’s travelling or a sleepover – I’m not fussy!
